Newtons Starter Fertiliser contains all the essential nutrients needed by new grass and seeds. With the addition of 15% Organic Carbon in our specialized formula, nutrients are able to cycle to the plant, reducing nutrient leaching. Newtons Starter Fertiliser is specially formulated for use when establishing, seeding and laying turf. The Newtons Difference Unlike other fertilisers, Newtons Starter Fertiliser exclusively contains organically certified carbon granules. These carbon granules are critical to cycle nutrients into a plant available form. LAWNS DON’T EAT – THEY DRINK!
Directions for use:
1. Prior to laying turf, prepare the area by removing all weeds and ensuring the soil is free draining and loose.
2. Spread Newtons Starter fertiliser evenly over the area at a rate of 1Kg per 10m2. Lightly rake the product through the soil and leave the surface level.
3. If laying seed, lightly rake the soil to create furrows and spread seed evenly over the area. Cross rake at 90deg to cover seed. If laying instant turf place on area and ensure even contact by rolling turf with a water roller.
4. Water your turf or seed in well and ensure frequent watering to prevent the area drying out. 5. Once your lawn is established reduce watering and follow up with Newtons Starter Turf Fertiliser.Â
